香港浸会大学社会工作系致力于培养未来的专业人士和学者,他们致力于提高社会中人们的福祉和生活水平。我们研究生课程旨在为我们的哲学硕士和博士生创造一个刺激思维的环境,培养他们的分析思维和提升研究技能,以进行高质量的研究,从而改变人们的生活。我们拥有充满活力的研究团队,研究集中在以下六个专业领域:
我们的教职员与本地社区的机构和组织有密切合作,并积极参与区域和国际的研究合作,以促进人类的福祉。我们的同事提倡基于证据的研究和实践的重要性,收集科学证据以提出解决人类困境的新方案。并且社会工作系成立了社会工作实践与心理健康中心,以整合我们的专业知识和研究兴趣,促进社会工作和心理健康方面的理解和实践。我们还与香港浸会大学内外的其他研究单位密切合作,制定研究议程,并在各自的研究领域创造新知识和技能。
一般情况下,申请者需要持有一级荣誉学士学位或者已完成硕士课程,社会工作专业者优先。4年全日制学生通常需48个月内完成受认可的研究和学习专案;而兼读制学生需要72个月内完成学业(详情请参考研究型研究生手册)。
