哲學博士/哲學碩士
香港浸會大學社會工作系致力於培養未來的專業人士和學者，他們致力於提高社會中人們的福祉和生活水平。我們研究生課程旨在為我們的哲學碩士和博士生創造一個刺激思維的環境，培養他們的分析思維和提升研究技能，以進行高質量的研究，從而改變人們的生活。我們擁有充滿活力的研究團隊，研究集中在以下六個專業領域：
- 老齡化與老年學
- 社區發展
- 輔導與心理治療
- 家庭、兒童與青少年
- 健康與心理健康
- 社會福利與社會政策
我們的教職員與本地社區的機構和組織有密切合作，並積極參與區域和國際的研究合作，以促進人類的福祉。我們的同事提倡基於證據的研究和實踐的重要性，收集科學證據以提出解決人類困境的新方案。並且社會工作系成立了社會工作實踐與心理健康中心，以整合我們的專業知識和研究興趣，促進社會工作和心理健康方面的理解和實踐。我們還與香港浸會大學內外的其他研究單位密切合作，制定研究議程，並在各自的研究領域創造新知識和技能。
一般情況下，申請者需要持有一級榮譽學士學位或者已完成碩士課程，社會工作專業者優先。4年全日制學生通常需48個月內完成受認可的研究和學習專案；而兼讀制學生需要72個月內完成學業（詳情請參考研究型研究生手冊）。
